Announcing the 2024 Tri-Hospital Dream Lottery Winners
Could you imagine waking up with an extra $1.25 million in your pocket? For one fortunate Manitoban, that dream became a reality as they were selected today as the 2024 Tri-Hospital Dream Lottery Grand Prize winner.
The Tri-Hospital Dream Lottery is a collaborative effort between three Manitoba hospital foundations—St. Boniface Hospital Foundation, Health Sciences Centre Foundation (HSC Foundation), and Children’s Hospital Foundation of Manitoba. The Lottery raises critical funds for health care in Manitoba, while simultaneously turning one of our residents into an instant millionaire.
Congratulations to Grand Prize Draw winner, Manuel Resendes of Winnipeg, Manitoba, with ticket number 3256550 who will choose between a tax-free cash prize of $1.25 million, or one of five home packages – each worth over $1.5 million!
The 50/50 PLUS winner was also drawn today. Szymon Zajac of Winnipeg, Manitoba, with ticket number 3417278 is the winner of Manitoba’s biggest 50/50 jackpot (totaling $1,324,700) and will take home $662,350.
This year’s Early Bird, Grand Prize, and 50/50 winners are published online at trihospitaldream.com starting today, July 9, 2024, and all winners will be posted online by July 18, 2024. All winners will be notified.

Together, St. Boniface Hospital, HSC, and HSC Children’s Hospital serve nearly one million patients annually and help deliver close to 11,000 babies each year. The funds raised from this year’s lottery will go directly toward improving patient care through the purchase of specialized equipment, technology and supporting innovative research. The investments will benefit all patients that visit our hospitals annually, as well as our hardworking doctors, nurses, staff, and allied health care professionals.
