            RULES OF PLAY

            2018 Tri-Hospital Dream Lottery Main Ticket and Draw Information:

            1. The 2018 Tri-Hospital Dream Lottery main ticket prices are Single ticket for $100, 2-Pack for $175, 4-Pack for $300 and 8-Pack for $500. Only 65,800 tickets will be sold.
            2. Total retail value of prizes is $2,423,095.50 (excluding taxes) for the Main Lottery.
            3. All persons participating in the 2018 Tri-Hospital Dream Lottery must be a minimum of 18 years of age.
            4. The Loyalty Bonus cutoff date for main ticket sales will be Friday May 18, 2018 at Midnight. The Loyalty Bonus draw will be held on Wednesday May 30, 2018 at 10:00 a.m. at the St. Boniface Hospital Foundation office, C1026-409 Taché Ave., Winnipeg, MB.
            5. The Dream Bonus cutoff date for main ticket sales will be Friday June 1, 2018 at Midnight. The Dream Bonus draw will be held on Wednesday June 13, 2018 at 10:00 a.m. at the St. Boniface Hospital Foundation office, C1026-409 Taché Ave., Winnipeg, MB.
            6. The Early Bird cutoff date for main ticket sales will be Thursday June 21, 2018 at Midnight. The Early Bird draw will be held on Wednesday July 4, 2018 at 10:00 a.m. at the St. Boniface Hospital Foundation office, C1026-409 Taché Ave., Winnipeg, MB.
            7. The Final main ticket sales cutoff for all remaining prizes will be Thursday July 12, 2018 at Midnight. All remaining main prize draws will begin on Wednesday July 25, 2018 at 10:00 a.m.to 12:30 pm. These draws will be in order of ascending retail value. All draws will take place at the St. Boniface Hospital Foundation office, C1026-409 Taché Ave., Winnipeg, MB.
            8. The Grand Prize draw will be held on Thursday July 26, 2018 between 11:00 a.m. to 7:00 p.m. at the William Ave Mall located at the Health Sciences Centre, 700 William Ave., Winnipeg, MB.
            9. In the event the 2018 Tri-Hospital Dream Lottery sells out prior to Midnight, Friday June 15, 2018 the following alternative draw dates will be used except for the Loyalty Bonus and Dream Bonus draws as noted above. The Early Bird draw will take place on Tuesday June 26, 2018 at 10:00 a.m. at the St. Boniface Hospital Foundation office, C1026-409 Taché Ave., Winnipeg, MB. All remaining main prize draws excluding the Grand Prize draw, will take place on Wednesday June 27, 2018 at 10:00 a.m. to 12:30 pm. These draws will be in order of ascending retail value. All draws will take place at the St. Boniface Hospital Foundation office, C1026-409 Taché Ave., Winnipeg, MB. The Grand Prize draw will take place on Thursday June 28, 2018 between 11:00 a.m. to 7:00 p.m. at the William Ave Mall located at the Health Sciences Centre, 700 William Ave., Winnipeg, MB.

            Grand Prize Rules

            1. The Grand Prize winner will have until Thursday August 9, 2018 to make their selection of their choice options.
            2. Title transfer for Grand Prize Choice 1, a Maric home located at 15 York Valley Way in Winnipeg, possession date estimated to be August 17, 2018; for Grand Prize Choice 2, a cottage located at 14 Block 4 Rd at Dorothy Lake in the Whiteshell Provincial Park in Manitoba, possession date estimated to be August 17, 2018; for Grand Prize Choice 3, an Irwin home located at 19 Prairie Lane in the RM of Headingley, MB possession date estimated to be September 28, 2018; and for Grand Prize Choice 4 an Irwin Homes condo located at 204-1914 Henderson Hwy in Winnipeg, MB possession date estimated to be March 1, 2019. Additional terms, conditions and/or restrictions may apply if the Grand Prize winner chooses a prize option with a home. This includes, but is not limited to: Grand Prize Choice 2, if this prize is chosen, the winner may have to enter into a new lease agreement with Whiteshell Provincial Park; and Grand Prize Choice 4, if this prize is chosen, the winner may be responsible for monthly common expenses/condo fees and other charges that may apply, the common elements and other units may not be completed by possession date, the possession date may be moved if the unit in not completed due to matters beyond the vendor’s control, and the condo cannot be transferred to a third party purchaser/advertised for sale within six months of the possession date.
            3. Due to housing market fluctuations, the market value of the real estate prizes may rise or diminish over time. Winner or charity is not entitled to the difference, if any, between the stated and actual market value at the time the prize is awarded.
            4. If the Grand Prize winner chooses one of the homes as the Grand Prize option, the Land Transfer Tax and the costs of transferring the home to the winner would be borne by the Foundation. If an EQ3 furniture credit is part of the Grand Prize winner’s chosen prize, the credit must be used within 6 months of the credit being awarded.

            50/50 PLUS™ Draw Info

            1. 50/50 PLUS™ ticket prices are 1 for $15, 6 for $30 and 20 for $60 and will be sold to generate a maximum of $1,755,000 in gross revenue. Winner will receive 50% of gross revenue to a maximum of $877,500. The 50/50 PLUS™ Minimum prize guarantee is $200,000.
            2. 50/50 PLUS™ tickets can only be purchased if a 2018 Tri-Hospital Dream Lottery main ticket has been purchased.
            3. The 50/50 PLUS™ ticket sales cut off is Midnight, Thursday July 12, 2018 or earlier if Main tickets are sold out. The 50/50 PLUS™ draw will take place Thursday July 26, 2018 at 9:00 a.m. at the St. Boniface Hospital Foundation office, C1026-409 Taché Ave., Winnipeg, MB.
            4. In the event that the 2018 Tri-Hospital Dream Lottery Main tickets sell out before Midnight, Friday June 15, 2018, the draw for the 50/50 Plus™ Draw will take place on Thursday June 28, 2018 at 9:00 a.m. at the St. Boniface Hospital Foundation office, C1026-409 Taché Ave., Winnipeg, MB.

            Daily Cash Calendar

            1. Daily Cash Calendar ticket prices are a Single ticket for $20, 4-Pack for $40 and an 8-Pack for $60. A maximum of 100,200 tickets will be sold. Tickets purchased will be eligible for all daily cash calendar draws.
            2. Total retail value of the Daily Cash Calendar prizes is $126,000 (excluding taxes).
            3. The Daily Cash Calendar tickets can only be purchased if a 2018 Tri-Hospital Dream Lottery main ticket has been purchased.
            4. The Daily Cash Calendar ticket sales cut off is Midnight, Thursday July 12, 2018 or earlier if the Main lottery tickets sell out. All Daily Cash Calendar draws (with the exception of the final two draws) will take place on Tuesday July 31, 2018 at 10:00 a.m. at the St. Boniface Hospital Foundation office, C1026-409 Taché Ave., Winnipeg, MB. There will be 60 Daily draw winners for the first 30 days of August 2018. Winners names will be posted daily on the 2018 Tri-Hospital Dream Lottery website www.trihospitaldream.com.
            5. The Daily Cash Calendar Final Two Draw(s) will take place on Thursday August 30, 2018 at 10:00 a.m. at the St. Boniface Hospital Foundation office, C1026-409 Taché Ave., Winnipeg, MB.
            6. There will be Two (2) Daily Cash Calendar daily winners (except Friday) of $1,000 Cash each, for a total of 52 winners. On each Friday draw, there will be Two (2) Daily Cash Calendar winners of $3,000 Cash each, for a total of eight (8) winners. The Final Two (2) Draws for will for $25,000 Cash each.

            Other Rules:

            1. Each ticket purchase is issued in only one person’s name and prizes will be issued only to the name of the person on the ticket. The person whose name is on the ticket is responsible for distributing any prizes in the event of a group purchase winning. All ticket packs are considered a single purchase and all tickets are issued in one person’s name.
            2. The official ticket is a receipt of purchase. It is the responsibility of ticket purchasers to ensure that they receive their ticket(s); however, participants do not need their ticket(s) in hand in order to be included in the respective draw(s). Tickets cannot be refunded once draws commence.
            3. The 50/50 Plus™ and Daily Cash Calendar tickets are available for purchase by any main ticket purchaser throughout the program. The addition of 50/50 Plus™ and/or Daily Cash Calendar tickets will only be accepted online at purchase.trihospitaldream.com/top-up after the initial purchase and must be purchased by the ticket deadline. All purchasers will require their initial order number and postal code to add additional 50/50 Plus™ and Daily Cash Calendar ticket(s) to their original order. Additional purchases will be in the name of the original ticket purchaser and will be mailed to the address on the original purchase.
            4. All draws, except for the Grand Prize draw, will be made using Random Number Generator software (RNG). The Grand Prize draw will be made by hand using a draw drum and numbered tokens corresponding to each ticketholder in the database.
            5. Each winner, as a condition of accepting any prize, may be required to sign a declaration and release confirming such winner’s eligibility to participate in the 2018 Tri-Hospital Dream Lottery and releasing the Foundation(s) from all Claims, which may arise from or in connection with the awarding, receipt, use and/or misuse of any prize awarded.
            6. For all travel prizes, winners and guest(s) must travel together on the same itinerary. The winner and his/her guests must be a Canadian resident to qualify for the prize. The winners and his/her guests must have the right to enter the destination. A minimum of one (1) person, either the winner or guests, must hold a valid credit card to cover any incidentals or any requirements that may be required at the hotel. The prize winner shall not be entitled to receive, in cash, certificate or otherwise, the balance of any amount representing the difference of the prize retail value and actual cost. No frequent flyer miles will be available.
            7. Tickets can only be purchased within the Province of Manitoba. All non-residents must purchase tickets in-person at one of the retail ticket sale locations.
            8. The 2018 Tri-Hospital Dream Lottery tickets are non-transferable and non-refundable.
            9. Ticket requests will be accepted on a first-come, first-served basis.
            10. All payments must be made in Canadian dollars.
            11. A ticket is not considered purchased until a verified financial transaction is complete. Ticket requests with cheques returned for insufficient funds (NSF) will be automatically voided. The Foundation has the right to charge persons $30 to cover NSF administrative costs.
            12. A complete list of all main prize winners will be published in the Winnipeg Free Press on Monday August 13, 2018 and a complete list of all winners will be published online at www.trihospitaldream.com. in a timely manner after the final Grand Prize draw has been completed. If the lottery should sell out before Midnight, Friday June 15, 2018 a complete list of all prize winners will be published in the Winnipeg Free Press on Monday July 23, 2018. Upon request to the Foundation office, a listing of winners will be provided.
            13. All prizes are tax-free. The 2018 Tri-Hospital Dream Lottery ticket purchases are not tax deductible and no charitable donations receipts will be issued, as per Canada Revenue Agency regulations.
            14. The Foundation reserves the right to use winners’ names and photos in communication, promotional and media materials.
            15. Members of the Board of Directors and employees and employees’ household members of the St. Boniface Hospital Foundation, Health Sciences Centre Foundation and Children’s Hospital Foundation of Manitoba, Inc., and members of licensed gaming suppliers providing services to this program, are prohibited from purchasing tickets in the 2018 Tri Hospital Dream Lottery.
            16. All unclaimed prizes become property of the 2018 Tri Hospital Dream Lottery after a period of three months once notification of winning tickets have been sent by mail or by email followed by one telephone call.
            17. It is the responsibility of the purchaser to ensure the mailing address on their ticket is correct.
            18. Each ticket is eligible to win one prize in each prize category. A prize category is defined as each group of identical prizes on the official list of prizes. After each prize category draw is completed, all tickets go back in the draw for the next prize category draws.
            19. All main prize draws will be drawn in order of ascending retail value.
            20. All prizes must be accepted as awarded; some restrictions may apply to the prizes.
            21. Vacation packages/travel vouchers are non-transferable, include return airfare from the Winnipeg James Armstrong Richardson International Airport. Travel packages must be selected by the winner(s) within 14 days of being notified of the prize options, and travel must be booked within 4 weeks of prize notification. All vacation travel prizes for draws are based on availability and some restrictions, blackout dates and conditions may apply. Travel must be completed by March 30, 2019 for any of the travel options. Travel insurance is included and must be taken by all travelers. Should the trip value be less than the prize amount, no refund will be given. Great Canadian Travel has the right to select suppliers and travel insurance providers for all trip components. Additional costs over the prize value are the responsibility of the winner.
            22. The $200,000 in travel vouchers from Great Canadian Travel included in Grand Prize Choice #4 are to be used within 20 years from the date of prize notification. The winner will be able to book travel with the Foundation’s travel partner annually until the full $200,000 has been used.
            23. Prizes awarded may not be exactly as illustrated in any advertising.
            24. Winners may be required to present picture identification in order to claim their prize.
            25. The liability of the St. Boniface Hospital Foundation, Health Sciences Centre Foundation, and the Children’s Hospital Foundation of Manitoba, Inc. is limited to the ticket price paid.
            26. The Foundation reserves the right to refuse purchasers.
            27. Every ticket holder has the right to witness the draws.
            28. Unless otherwise stated in these raffle rules, winners will have 14 days from the date notifying them of their prize options to make their selection. Once a prize is chosen, the prize will be available to the winner by September 30, 2018, otherwise stated in the raffle rules.
            29. For a Mercedes-Benz prize, the prize will be available on or by June 1, 2019. If a 2018 model is not available, a 2019 model may be provided.
            30. For the 2018 Surveyor camper trailer 33KRLOK prize, if a 2018 model is not available, a 2019 model will be awarded.
