2020 Tri-Hospital Dream Lottery Main Ticket and Draw Information:

  1. The 2020 Tri-Hospital Dream Lottery main ticket prices are Single ticket for $100, 2-Pack for $175, 4-Pack for $300 and 8-Pack for $500. Only 64,000 tickets will be sold.
  2. Total retail value of prizes is $2,519,162.68 (excluding taxes) for the Main Lottery.
  3. All persons participating in the 2020 Tri-Hospital Dream Lottery must be a minimum of 18 years of age.
  4. The Summer Bonus cutoff date for main ticket sales will be Thursday June 25, 2020 at Midnight. The Summer Bonus draw will be held on Wednesday July 8, 2020 at 10:00 a.m. at the St. Boniface Hospital Foundation office, C1026-409 Taché Avenue, Winnipeg MB.
  5. The Dream Bonus cutoff date for main ticket sales will be Thursday July 9, 2020 at Midnight. The Dream Bonus draw will be held on Wednesday July 22, 2020 at 10:00 a.m. at the St. Boniface Hospital Foundation office, C1026-409 Taché Avenue, Winnipeg MB.
  6. The Early Bird cutoff date for main ticket sales will be Thursday July 30, 2020 at Midnight. The Early Bird draws will be held on Wednesday August 12, 2020 at 10:00 a.m. at the St. Boniface Hospital Foundation office, C1026-409 Taché Avenue, Winnipeg MB.
  7. The Final main ticket sales cutoff for all remaining prizes will be Thursday August 13, 2020 at Midnight. All remaining main prize draws excluding the Grand Prize draw, will begin on Tuesday August 25, 2020 at 10:00 a.m. These draws will be in order of ascending retail value. All draws will take place at the St.Boniface Hospital Foundation office, C1026-409 Taché Avenue, Winnipeg MB.
  8. The Grand Prize draw will be held on Wednesday August 26, 2020 between 11:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m. at the St. Boniface Hospital Foundation office, C1026-409 Taché Avenue, Winnipeg MB.
  9. In the event the 2020 Tri-Hospital Dream Lottery sells out prior to Midnight, Thursday July 30, 2020 the following alternative draw dates will be used except for the Summer Bonus and Dream Bonus draws as noted above. The Early Bird draws will take place on Tuesday August 11, 2020 at 10:00 a.m. at the St.Boniface Hospital Foundation office, C1026-409 Taché Avenue, Winnipeg MB. All remaining main prize draws excluding the Grand Prize draw, will take place on Tuesday August 11, 2020 at 11:00 a.m. These draws will be in order of ascending retail value. All draws will take place at the St. Boniface Hospital Foundation office, C1026-409 Taché Avenue, Winnipeg MB. The Grand Prize draw will take place on Wednesday August 12, 2020 between 11:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m. at the St. Boniface Hospital Foundation office, C1026-409 Taché Avenue, Winnipeg MB.

Grand Prize Rules

  1. The Grand Prize winner will have until Thursday September 3, 2020 to make their selection of their choice options. In the event that the winner cannot be reached or does not indicate their selection to the St. Boniface Hospital Foundation prior to 12:00 p.m. on Thursday September 3, 2020, the cash option will be awarded.
  2. Title transfer for the Early Bird Condo prize, Irwin Condo located at 102-1505 Molson Street in Winnipeg,MB, estimated possession date to be September 4, 2020; for Grand Prize Choice 1, a KDR home to be built at 186 Willow Creek Rd in Winnipeg, MB, estimated possession date to be May 31, 2021; for Grand Prize Choice 2, a KDR Homes cottage to be built at 44 Toniata Beach in Falcon Lake, MB, estimated possession date to be April 1, 2021; for Grand Prize Choice 3, a Maric Home to be built at 737 Bridge Lake Drive, estimated possession date to be Dec 15, 2021; for Grand Prize Choice 4, a Gino’s Home to be built at 264 Yellow Moon Crescent, estimated possession date to be July 31, 2021; for Grand Prize Choice 5, A Crown Isle Home to be built on Lot 3 Block 72 1315 Crown Isle Boulevard in Courtenay, BC,estimated possession date to be June 1, 2021, and for Grand Prize Choice 6, A condo located at 1605-390 Assiniboine Avenue, estimated possession date to be September 18, 2020. Certain Show homes with similar layouts as some of the homes listed above may be available for showing only by the Builders. They are not the homes that will be awarded. Winner will be awarded a new home to be built as indicated in the prize listings.
  3. Due to housing market fluctuations, the market value of the real estate prizes may rise or diminish overtime. Winner or charity is not entitled to the difference, if any, between the stated and actual market value at the time the prize is awarded.
  4. If the Early Bird winner chooses the condo and/or the Grand Prize winner chooses one of the homes as the Grand Prize option, the Land Transfer Tax and the costs of transferring the home to the winner would be borne by the Foundation. If a Wiens Furniture gift certificate is part of the Grand Prize winner’s chosen prize, the credit must be used within 6 months of the credit being awarded unless it is one of the homes that is to be built identified above in Rule 11. If the Grand Prize winner chooses a home to be built, then the winner will have 6 months from the date of possession of the chosen home to use the Wiens Furniture credit.

50/50 PLUS™ Draw Info

  1. 50/50 PLUS™ ticket prices are 2-Pack for $20, 8-Pack for $40 and 30-Pack for $60 and will be sold to generate a maximum of $2,000,000 in gross revenue. Winner will receive 50% of gross revenue to a maximum of $1,000,000. The 50/50 PLUS™ Minimum prize guarantee is $200,000.
  2. 50/50 PLUS™ tickets can only be purchased if a 2020 Tri-Hospital Dream Lottery main ticket has been purchased.
  3. The 50/50 PLUS™ ticket sales cut off is Midnight, Thursday August 13, 2020 or earlier if Main tickets are sold out. The 50/50 PLUS™ draw will take place Wednesday August 26, 2020 at 10:00 a.m. at the St.Boniface Hospital Foundation office, C1026-409 Taché Avenue, Winnipeg MB.
  4. In the event that the 2020 Tri-Hospital Dream Lottery Main tickets sell out before Midnight, Thursday July 30, 2020, the draw for the 50/50 Plus™ Draw will take place on Wednesday August 12, 2020 at 10:00 a.m. at the St. Boniface Hospital Foundation office, C1026-409 Taché Avenue, Winnipeg MB.

Daily Cash Calendar

  1. Daily Cash Calendar ticket prices are a 2-Pack for $20, 5-Pack for $40 and 10-Pack for $60. A maximum of 131,000 tickets will be sold. Tickets purchased will be eligible for all daily cash calendar draws.
  2. Total retail value of the Daily Cash Calendar prizes is $136,000 (excluding taxes). 2
  3. The Daily Cash Calendar tickets can only be purchased if a 2020 Tri-Hospital Dream Lottery main ticket has been purchased.
  4. The Daily Cash Calendar ticket sales cut off is Midnight, Thursday August 13, 2020 or earlier if the Main lottery tickets sell out. All Daily Cash Calendar draws including the final 4 draws will take place on Monday August 31, 2020 at 10:00 a.m. at the St. Boniface Hospital Foundation office, C1026-409 Taché Avenue, Winnipeg MB. There will be 116 Daily draw winners for the first 29 days of September 2020.There will be 4 Cash Calendar Final draws for September 30, 2020. Winners names will be posted daily on the 2020 Tri-Hospital Dream Lottery website www.trihospitaldream.com.
  5. There will be Four (4) Daily Cash Calendar daily winners of $1,000 Cash each, for a total of 116 winners.The Final Four (4) Draw winners will each win $5,000 Cash each, for a total of 4 winners.

Other Rules:

  1. Each ticket purchase is issued in only one person’s name and prizes will be issued only to the name of the person on the ticket. The person whose name is on the ticket is responsible for distributing any prizes in the event of a group purchase winning. All ticket packs are considered a single purchase and all tickets are issued in one person’s name.
  2. The official ticket is a receipt of purchase. It is the responsibility of ticket purchasers to ensure that they receive their ticket(s); however, participants do not need their ticket(s) in hand in order to be included in the respective draw(s). Tickets cannot be refunded once draws commence.
  3. The Top-up program for the 50/50 Plus™ and Daily Cash Calendar tickets are available for purchase by any resident of Manitoba who has purchased a main ticket throughout the program. The addition of 50/50 Plus™ and/or Daily Cash Calendar tickets will only be accepted by phone at 1-844-654-4677 or online at purchase.trihospitaldream.com/top-up after the initial purchase and must be purchased by the ticket deadline. All purchasers will require their initial order number and postal code to add additional 50/50 Plus™ and Daily Cash Calendar ticket(s) to their original order. Additional purchases will be in the name of the original ticket purchaser and will be mailed to the address on the original purchase.
  4. All draws, except for the Grand Prize draw, will be made using Random Number Generator software(RNG). The Grand Prize draw will be made by hand using a draw drum and numbered tokens corresponding to each ticket holder in the database.
  5. Each winner, as a condition of accepting any prize, may be required to sign a declaration and release confirming such winner’s eligibility to participate in the 2020 Tri-Hospital Dream Lottery and releasing the Foundation(s) from all Claims, which may arise from or in connection with the awarding, receipt, use and/or misuse of any prize awarded.
  6. For all travel prizes, winners and guest(s) must travel together on the same itinerary. The winner and his/her guests must be a Canadian resident to qualify for the prize. The winners and his/her guests must have the right to enter the destination. A minimum of one (1) person, either the winner or guest(s), must hold a valid credit card to cover any incidentals or any requirements that may be required at the hotel.The prize winner shall not be entitled to receive, in cash, certificate or otherwise, the balance of any amount representing the difference of the prize retail value and actual cost. No frequent flyer miles will be available.
  7. Tickets can only be purchased within the Province of Manitoba. All non-residents must purchase tickets in-person at one of the retail ticket sale locations in Manitoba.
  8. The 2020 Tri-Hospital Dream Lottery tickets are non-transferable and non-refundable.
  9. Ticket requests will be accepted on a first-come, first-served basis.
  10. All payments must be made in Canadian dollars.
  11. A ticket is not considered purchased until a verified financial transaction is complete. Ticket requests with cheques returned for insufficient funds (NSF) will be automatically voided. The Foundation has the right to charge persons $30 to cover NSF administrative costs.
  12. A complete list of all main prize winners will be published in the Winnipeg Free Press on Tuesday September 15, 2020 and a complete list of all winners will be published online at www.trihospitaldream.com in a timely manner after the final Grand Prize draw has been completed. If the lottery should sell out before Midnight, Thursday July 30, 2020 a complete list of all prize winners will be published in the Winnipeg Free Press on Tuesday August 18, 2020. Upon request to the Foundation office, a listing of winners will be provided.
  13. All prizes are tax-free. The 2020 Tri-Hospital Dream Lottery ticket purchases are not tax deductible and no charitable donations receipts will be issued, as per Canada Revenue Agency regulations.
  14. The Foundation reserves the right to use winners’ names and photos in communication, promotional and media materials.
  15. Members of the Board of Directors and employees and employees’ household members of the St.Boniface Hospital Foundation, Health Sciences Centre Foundation and Children’s Hospital Foundation of Manitoba, Inc., and members of licensed gaming suppliers providing services to this program, are prohibited from purchasing tickets in the 2020 Tri Hospital Dream Lottery.
  16. All unclaimed prizes become property of the 2020 Tri Hospital Dream Lottery after a period of three months once notification of winning tickets have been sent by mail or by email followed by one telephone call.
  17. It is the responsibility of the purchaser to ensure the mailing address on their ticket is correct.
  18. Each ticket is eligible to win one prize in each prize category. A prize category is defined as each group of identical prizes on the official list of prizes. After each prize category draw is completed, all tickets go back in the draw for the next prize category draws.
  19. All main prize draws will be drawn in order of ascending retail value.
  20. All prizes must be accepted as awarded; some restrictions may apply to the prizes.
  21. Vacation packages/travel vouchers are non-transferable, include return airfare from the Winnipeg James Armstrong Richardson International Airport. Travel packages must be selected by the winner(s) within 14 days of being notified of the prize options, and travel must be booked within 4 weeks of prize notification.All vacation travel prizes for draws are based on availability and some restrictions, blackout dates and conditions may apply. Travel must be completed by April 30, 2021 for any of the travel options. Travel insurance is included and must be taken by all travelers. Should the trip value be less than the prize amount, no refund will be given. CWT Vacations Winnipeg has the right to select suppliers and travel insurance providers for all trip components. Additional costs over the prize value are the responsibility of the winner.
  22. Prizes awarded may not be exactly as illustrated in any advertising.
  23. Winners may be required to present picture identification in order to claim their prize.
  24. The liability of the St. Boniface Hospital Foundation, Health Sciences Centre Foundation, and the Children’s Hospital Foundation of Manitoba, Inc. is limited to the ticket price paid.
  25. The Foundation reserves the right to refuse purchasers.
  26. Every ticket holder has the right to witness the draws. In the event we are unable to allow the draws to be open to the public due to COVID 19 health restrictions or other restrictions, the draws will be video recorded and available to all ticket holders for viewing on our website at www.trihospitaldream.com. In the event we are forced to move location of the draws a notice will be provided on our website prior to the applicable draw(s).
  27. Unless otherwise stated in these raffle rules, winners will have 14 days from the date notifying them of their prize options to make their selection. Once a prize is chosen, the prize will be available to the winner by October 31, 2020, unless otherwise stated in the raffle rules.
