RULES OF PLAY

2017 Tri-Hospital Dream Lottery Main Ticket and Draw Information:

  1. The 2017 Tri-Hospital Dream Lottery main ticket prices are Single ticket for $100, 2-Pack for $175, 4-Pack for $300 and 8-Pack for $500. Only 65,300 tickets will be sold.
  2. Total retail value of prizes is $2,409,188.00 (excluding taxes) for the Main Lottery.
  3. All persons participating in the 2017 Tri-Hospital Dream Lottery must be a minimum of 18 years of age.
  4. The VIP Tri-Hospital Bonus cutoff date for main ticket sales will be Friday May 19, 2017 at Midnight. The VIP Tri-Hospital Bonus draw will be held on Thursday June 1, 2017 at 10:00 a.m. at the St. Boniface Hospital Foundation office, C1026-409 Taché Ave., Winnipeg, MB.
  5. The Dream Bonus cutoff date for main ticket sales will be Friday June 2, 2017 at Midnight. The Dream Bonus draw will be held on Thursday June 15, 2017 at 10:00 a.m. at the St. Boniface Hospital Foundation office, C1026-409 Taché Ave., Winnipeg, MB.
  6. The Early Bird cutoff date for main ticket sales will be Thursday June 22, 2017 at Midnight. The Early Bird draw will be held on Thursday July 6, 2017 at 10:00 a.m. at the St. Boniface Hospital Foundation office, C1026-409 Taché Ave., Winnipeg, MB.
  7. The Final main ticket sales cutoff for all remaining prizes will be Wednesday July 12, 2017 at Midnight. All remaining main prize draws will begin on Tuesday July 25, 2017 at 9:00 a.m. and stop at 4:30 p.m. and if required, continue Wednesday July 26, 2017 at 9:00 a.m. and stop at 4:30 p.m. These draws will be in order of ascending retail value. All draws will take place at the St. Boniface Hospital Foundation office, C1026-409 Taché Ave., Winnipeg, MB.
  8. The Grand Prize draw will be held on Thursday July 27, 2017 between 11:00 a.m. to 7:00 p.m. at the St. Boniface Hospital Everett Atrium located at 409 Taché Ave., Winnipeg, MB.
  9. In the event the 2017 Tri-Hospital Dream Lottery sells out prior to Midnight, Friday June 9, 2017 the following alternative draw dates will be used except for the VIP Tri-Hospital Bonus and Dream Bonus draws as noted above. The Early Bird draw will take place on Tuesday July 4, 2017 at 10:00 a.m. at the St. Boniface Hospital Foundation office, C1026-409 Taché Ave., Winnipeg, MB. All remaining main prize draws excluding the Grand Prize draw, will take place on Tuesday July 4, 2017 at 10:30 a.m. and stop at 4:30 p.m. and continue Wednesday July 5, 2017 at 9:00 a.m and stop at 4:30 p.m. These draws will be in order of ascending retail value. All draws will take place at the St. Boniface Hospital Foundation office, C1026-409 Taché Ave., Winnipeg, MB. The Grand Prize draw will take place on Thursday July 6, 2017 between 11:00 a.m. to 7:00 p.m. at the St. Boniface Hospital Everett Atrium located at 409 Taché Ave., Winnipeg, MB.

Grand Prize Rules

  1. The Grand Prize winner will have until Thursday August 10, 2017 to make their selection of their choice options.
  2. Title transfer for Grand Prize Choice 1 a to be built Maric home located at 62 Bonaventure Drive West in Winnipeg for possession no later than June 30, 2018; for Grand Prize Choice 2 the condo located at 215-775 Sterling Lyon Parkway in Winnipeg possession date would be on or before September 2, 2017 and the home by Lakeview Subdivision Peachland Ltd. in Peachland, BC would be on or before September 1, 2017; for Grand Prize Choice 3 a to be built cottage by Maric Homes on a property within 125 km of the perimeter surrounding the City of Winnipeg or 20 km from Falcon Lake or West Hawk Lake where property is primarily accessible by Provincial Highways, the transfer of Ownership would be within 10 months of allowable access to the property.
  3. Additional conditions and restrictions for Grand Prize Choices. For the Grand Prize Choice 1 home from Maric Homes, the winner may have the option of selecting the show home at 259 Bonaventure Drive East if the home has not been sold by the end of the lottery. Certain conditions and restrictions may apply; for Grand Prize Choice 2 for the Oxbow condo there will be monthly condo fees and other charges that may apply that the winner will be responsible should they choose this package; for the Grand Prize Choice 3 for the Maric dream cottage there are certain conditions and restrictions. If the winner chooses this cottage as part of the prize package the winner will have up to 120 days to enter into a final construction contract with Maric. Failure to have a contract in place will result in the Grand Prize winner receiving the Grand Prize Option 4 the cash prize of $1.2 Million.

50/50 PLUS™ Draw Info

  1. 50/50 PLUS™ ticket prices are 1 for $15, 6 for $30 and 20 for $60 will be sold to generate a maximum of $1,740,000 in gross revenue. Winner will receive 50% of gross revenue to a maximum of $870,000. The 50/50 PLUS™ Minimum prize guarantee is $200,000.
  2. 50/50 PLUS™ tickets must be ordered in conjunction with your 2017 Tri-Hospital Dream Lottery main ticket. 50/50 PLUS™ ticket orders will not be accepted after your original 2017 Tri-Hospital Dream Lottery ticket order date.
  3. The 50/50 PLUS™ ticket sales cut off is Midnight, Wednesday July 12, 2017 or earlier if Main tickets are sold out. The 50/50 PLUS™ draw will take place Thursday July 27, 2017 at 10:00 a.m. at the St. Boniface Hospital Foundation office, C1026-409 Taché Ave., Winnipeg, MB.
  4. In the event that the 2017 Tri-Hospital Dream Lottery Main tickets sell out before Midnight, Friday June 9, 2017, the draw for the 50/50 Plus™ Draw will take place on Thursday July 6, 2017 at 10:00 a.m. at the St. Boniface Hospital Foundation office, C1026-409 Taché Ave., Winnipeg, MB.

Big Apple Plus Cash Calendar

  1. Big Apple Plus™ Cash Calendar ticket prices are a Single ticket for $20, 4-Pack for $40 and an 8-Pack for $60. A maximum of 96,000 tickets will be sold. Tickets purchased will be eligible for all draws which include the 30 Big Apple Daily draws and the Big Apple Final Draw.
  2. Total retail value of the Calendar prizes is $134,106.00 (excluding taxes).
  3. The Calendar tickets must be ordered in conjunction with your 2017 Tri-Hospital Dream Lottery main ticket. The Calendar ticket orders will not be accepted after your original 2017 Tri-Hospital Dream Lottery ticket order date.
  4. The Calendar ticket sales cut off is Midnight, Wednesday July 12, 2017 or earlier if the Main lottery tickets sell out. All Calendar draws (with the exception of the Big Apple Final Draw) will take place on Monday July 31, 2017 at 10:00 a.m. at the St. Boniface Hospital Foundation office, C1026-409 Taché Ave., Winnipeg, MB. There will be 30 Daily draw winners for the first 30 days of August 2017. Winners names will be posted daily on the 2017 Tri-Hospital Dream Lottery website www.trihospitaldream.com.
  5. The Big Apple Final Draw will take place on Thursday August 31, 2017 at 10:00 a.m. at the St. Boniface Hospital Foundation office, C1026-409 Taché Ave., Winnipeg, MB.

Other Rules:

  1. Each ticket purchase is issued in only one person’s name and prizes will be issued only to the name of the person on the ticket. The person whose name is on the ticket is responsible for distributing any prizes in the event of a group purchase winning. All ticket packs are considered a single purchase and all tickets are issued in one person’s name.
  2. Tickets can only be purchased within the Province of Manitoba. All non-residents must purchase tickets in-person at one of the retail ticket sale locations.
  3. The 2017 Tri-Hospital Dream Lottery tickets are non-transferable and non-refundable.
  4. Ticket requests will be accepted on a first-come, first-served basis.
  5. All payments must be made in Canadian dollars.
  6. A ticket is not considered purchased until a verified financial transaction is complete. Ticket requests with cheques returned for insufficient funds (NSF) will be automatically voided. The Foundation has the right to charge persons $30 to cover NSF administrative costs.
  7. A complete list of all prize winners will be published in the Winnipeg Free Press on Monday August 14, 2017 and a complete list of all winners will be published online at www.trihospitaldream.com. in a timely manner after the final Grand Prize draw has been completed. If the lottery should sell out before Midnight, Friday June 9, 2017 a complete list of all prize winners will be published in the Winnipeg Free Press on Monday July 24, 2017. Upon request to the Foundation office a listing of winners will be provided.
  8. All prizes are tax-free. The 2017 Tri-Hospital Dream Lottery ticket purchases are not tax deductible and no charitable donations receipts will be issued, as per Canada Revenue Agency regulations.
  9. The Foundation reserves the right to use winners’ names and photos in communication, promotional and media materials.
  10. Members of the Board of Directors and employees of the St. Boniface Hospital Foundation, Health Sciences Centre Foundation and Children’s Hospital Foundation of Manitoba, Inc. and their household members, and members of licensed gaming suppliers providing services to this program are prohibited from purchasing tickets in the 2017 Tri-Hospital Dream Lottery.
  11. All unclaimed prizes become property of the 2017 Tri-Hospital Dream Lottery after a period of three months once notification of winning tickets have been sent by mail or by email followed by one telephone call.
  12. It is the responsibility of the purchaser to ensure the mailing address on their ticket is correct.
  13. Each ticket is eligible to win one prize in each prize category. A Prize category is defined as each group of identical prizes on the official list of prizes. After each prize category draw is completed, all tickets go back in the draw for the next prize category draws.
  14. All prizes must be accepted as awarded, some restrictions may apply to the prizes.
  15. Vacation packages include all taxes and where applicable, airfare from the Winnipeg James Armstrong Richardson International Airport and no blackout periods apply. All vacation travel prizes are based on availability and certain restrictions and conditions may apply.
  16. Prizes awarded may not be exactly as illustrated in any advertising.
  17. Winners may be required to present picture identification in order to claim their prize.
  18. The Foundation reserves the right to refuse purchasers.
  19. Every ticket holder has the right to witness the draws.
